Elena Jacob is a Romanian-born History professor and children’s book author. Despite the hardships she's faced in her life, she's never once lost her strength and positivity, which she continues to live by today. Her optimism and support of others have motivated countless of people in her life. She speaks multiple languages, including Japanese, as she is charmed by the culture. Through her interest in Japan, Elena discovered the concept of wabisabi, which later inspired the founding of Wabisabi Art Group. She enjoys designing her own clothes and jewellery and, above all, she values time spent with her loved ones and sharing her interests with them. She, like the rest of the team, is also a dedicated figure skating fan.
